Beth Davis
Beth Davis is Partner and Managing Director of Sage Road Solutions. She is responsible for company oversight, as well as for the company’s market development services and solutions practice. She can be reached at beth@sageroadsolutions.com
Beth is the former Vice President and General Manager of Macromedia, Inc. where she responsibility for managing all products, including Flash, Dreamweaver, Flash Communication Server, Contribute, Director and Authorware, as well as vertical-specific roles managing Higher Education, Students and the Non-Profit markets. She was actively involved in M&A activities at Macromedia including the acquisition of Presidia, (the creators of Macromedia Breeze/Adobe Connect), Allaire, and eHelp Corporation, (the developers of Adobe Captivate). She was a major contributor the efforts associated with Macromedia’s acquisition by Adobe Systems, Inc.
Beth’s early career in marketing and technology includes product management and marketing roles at Sega, Knowledge Adventure, Mattel and the Walt Disney Company where she was responsible for managing product lines that include licenses from Barbie, Hot Wheels, Marvel Comics, DC Comic, and properties from Steven Spielberg. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
Ellen Wagner
Ellen Wagner is Partner and Principal Analyst for Sage Road Solutions. She is responsible for industry intelligence and enablement services and solutions practices. She can be reached at ellen@sageroadsolutions.com
Ellen is the former senior director of worldwide eLearning, Adobe Systems, Inc. and was senior director of worldwide education solutions for Macromedia, Inc. Prior to working in software solutions marketing and product development, Ellen was Chief Learning Officer and Director of Education for Viviance new education, a Swiss-based elearning company with offices in 10 North American and European countries. She was Chief Learning Officer and VP of Consulting Services for Informania, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Viviance.
Before joining the private sector, Ellen was a tenured Professor and Chair of the Educational Technology program at the University of Northern Colorado, and held a number of administrative posts, including Director of the Western Institute for Distance Education and Coordinator of Campus Instructional and Research Technologies, Academic Affairs. Her Ph.D. in learning psychology comes from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Her M.S. and B.A. degrees were earned at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Colleen Carmean
Colleen Carmean's work for Sage Road Solutions focuses on research and evaluation of emerging technology trends and application. Her current research agenda explores design and use of integrated knowledge systems, including environments for eLearning and social media. She teaches critical thinking and applied computing at Arizona State University, and is responsible for the design of a number of online degree programs there. Dr. Carmean is a 2002 Educause NLII Fellow, a 2004 Frye Fellow and a 2006-2008 Arizona Wakonse Teaching Fellow. Her PhD is from Capella University, MA from the University of Arizona, Baccalaureate from the University of Paris at the Sorbonne and BAS from the University of Illinois.
Colleen's earlier career roles include Systems Manager and Software Development Director at the Arizona Cancer Center, Director of Information Technology for AZ State University West, and Director of eLearning and Emerging Technologies for the School of Global Management & Leadership at ASU.
Chris Lehmbeck
Chris Lehmbeck's work for Sage Road Solutions involves helping organizations plan, select and implement technology innovations at their institution. His current agena includes consulting and bootcamps for updating learning spaces, and selecting, implementing and deploying web conferencing and video solutions for instruction. Chris is the Director of Darden Media at the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia where he manages the multimedia and simulation development, video production, and audiovisual support for MBA, MBA for Executives, and Executive Education programs. He also manages the technical support for all of the distance learning efforts in the MBA for Executives program.
Chris recently oversaw the audiovisual technology upgrade of 41 learning spaces in two buildings, the largest upgrade since the construction of the Darden campus in 1996. Darden Media has produced more than 150 multimedia cases, simulations, videos, online tutorials, and interactive exercises. Many applications have been purchased by institutions throughout the world.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia.
Anne Derryberry
Anne Derryberry's work for Sage Road Solutions lies in design review and consultation for 'next-generation' learning and productivity solutions. Anne is a noted worldwide expert in how simulations and gaming and their associated technologies can advance learning and productivity and regularly writes and consults for eLearning, Fortune 500 and serious gaming companies. Anne holds a master's degree in Educational Technology from San Diego State and a BA in French from UCLA.
Anne's earlier career is defined with success founding, managing and merging successful eLearning businesses, including Informania, a company whose primary operations was creating technology-driven corporate learning solutions to commercial customers worldwide. Anne is also a distinguished eLearning designer having done work for global companies including IBM, Apple, Novell, Kaiser Permanente and McKesson.
